Qingdao Luhang has been devoted to developing and manufacturing Yokohama Pneumatic Rubber Fenders for more than 2 decades. Essentially there are two main types of marine pneumatic rubbers, defined as either low or high pressure fenders. Yokohama Pneumatic rubber fenders are ideal for permanent and semi-permanent port and ship-to-ship transfers requiring minimal maintenance, so costs are kept down.Pneumatic rubber fenders are made of synthetic-cord-reinforced rubber sheets with compressed air inside at initial pressure of 50kPa (low pressure) or 80kPa (high pressure) to enable it to float on water and work as a shock absorber between two ships or between ship and a dock. Although manufactured using different techniques, both low and high pressure fenders work by the same principle.

Net type fender is a fender covered with a protetion net consisting of either chain, wire, or rope and usually with tyres and rubber sleeves.
